the rules for this garage band assignment were that we could only use our bodies to create a piece, but could change the sound through effects. since the effects i initially listened to were so weird and crazy, i decided to center it around spoken and sung quotes from “alice in wonderland.” the part where it sounds like i’m saying “mysterious” is actually “alice in wonderland” in Russian (Алиса в стране чудес, pronounced phonetically as “Alisa v strane chudes”
